Seth Daniel Pettyjohn

Seth Daniel Pettyjohn, 13, of Avon, passed away January 13, 2017. He was born April 9, 2003 in Danville, IN to Lance and Shelly Pettyjohn. Seth was in the 7th grade and attended Avon Middle School South. Even though his condition kept him small of stature he would not take no for an answer and his spirit was larger than life. Seth enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, Duck Dynasty, Boy Scouts and the school band. He was his sisters biggest fan where she is a cheerleader for the United States Naval Academy. Seth was also very proud of his big brother Jacob for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon R. Byers. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 am in Plainfield Christian Church(800 Dan Jones Road) where friends may call on Wednesday, January 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Lance and Shelly Pettyjohn; sister, Meg Pettyjohn; brother, Jacob Pettyjohn; grandparents, Richard Byers, David and Deanna Pettyjohn; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Contributions can be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Make a Wish Foundation or to Camp Allendale.
