Louis Joseph Jugg, 74, of Avon passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 3, 2017. He was born November 12, 1942 to the late Julius and Elizabeth (Clements) Jugg in Indianapolis, IN. He was a US Marine Corps veteran. He worked at Allisons Transmission for 28 years retiring as an inspector in 1993. He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield and a life member of the American Legion Post #500. Louis is survived by his wife, Karen K. (Lawalin) Jugg; a daughter, Kristine E. Jugg Bair; four step-daughters, Holly A. (Kyle) Bourne, Teri L. Riley, Cindy (Leon) Handt, and Tracy K (John) King; a brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Jugg; two sisters, Diane (Jim) Cain and Judy A. Otey; 3 grandsons, Easton and Bralen Bair and Cohen Robb; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 6, at St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield. Burial, with military honors, will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Susanna Catholic Church.
