Lizzie Haddix

Lizzie Haddix, 89, of Plainfield, passed away December 27, 2016. She was born July 5, 1927 to the late King and Matilda (Mullins) Potter in Neon, KY. She was a member of the New Beginning Church in Plainfield. She was a production worker at White Metal Co in Indianapolis for 15 years retiring in 1966. Lizzie is survived by a son, Reggie Mullins; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Thomas Mullins and Cecil Haddix and two daughters, Betty Edwards and Brenda Shepherd-Maggness. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 2, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
