Betty J. Pruett

Betty J. Pruett, 77, of Plainfield, passed away December 16, 2016. She was born August 18, 1939 in Aurora, IN to the late Herschel and Marjorie Hon. Betty retired in 1999 from the Indiana Boys School after 25 years as a secretary. A gathering will be Wednesday, December 21, at St. Augustine Episcopal Church (600 N. Washington St, Danville, IN) from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 pm. Her memberships besides the church were, Plainfield Order of Eastern Star # 414 and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Survivors include her husband, Willis "Willie" Pruett; daughters, Patricia Lynn (Russell) Spicer and Elizabeth Ann Pruett; son, John Allen (Christina) Pruett; brother, Richard Allen Griffith; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
