Francis Dale Graves

Francis Dale Graves, 99, of Plainfield, passed away on December 8, 2016. He was born on April 20, 1917 in Albion, IA to the late Hugh and Vinnie (Garten) Graves. Francis was a 1936 graduate of LaMoille High School in LaMoille, IA. His occupations include a farmer for many years, school maintenance for Davis Elementary in Grinnel, IA and the owner of a small appliance repair business. Francis was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arnola Graves and his second wife, Margaret "Peggy" Graves. Memorial services will be Saturday, December 17, in Plainfield Friends Meeting(105 S. East Street) at 10:00 am where friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service.  Survivors include his sons, Dale (Sylvia) Graves and Harvey (Jill) Folsom; daughter, Francene Graves; sister, Neva Kerr; grandchildren, Maria Ditman, Eric Graves, Michael Folsom, Karen Folsom, Kyle Folsom and Justin Folsom; great grandchildren, Elena Ditman, Mateo Ditman, Eliea Graves, Cohen Graves, Simon Folsom and Maxwell Folsom.
