James William Purchase, 45, of Plainfield, passed away October 19, 2016. He was born September 6, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by his parents, Wendell B. and Janie R. (Eiland) Purchase; 4 brothers , William B. and Josh Purchase, Roy (Ashley) Scruggs, and Andre Clark; and 6 sisters, Jennifer L. (Michael) Stokes, Rachel (Jeff) Taylor, Shanae, Angela, Tasia, and Jasmine Purchase. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 8743 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46231, and where friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sickle Cell Foundation.
