Clair William Brocious Jr.

Clair William Brocious Jr., 75, of Plainfield, passed away October 13, 2016. He was born February 8, 1941 to the late Clair William and Mary Hannah (Wells) Brocious in Baxter, PA. He was a US Navy Reserves veteran. He was a forklift operator for Bridgeport Brass (Olin Brass) for 43 years retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Plainfield Eagles #3207 and the Plainfield Optimist. He was proud to have helped build Lovell Field in Plainfield. Bill is survived by his wife, Judith Marie (Korchak) Brocious; two sons, William Jon (Alma) Brocious and their children, Gabrielle, Christian, Isabelle, and Amelia Brocious, and son Brian David (Colleen) Brocious and their children, Matthew, Patrick and Jake Brocious; three sisters, Shirley Barnes, Monna Murphy and Donna Kirkland. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, October 17 in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Susanna Catholic Church building fund.
