Jacqueline L. Trotter Spears

Jacqueline "Jackie" L. (Trotter) Spears, 62, of Nashville, TN formerly of Greenwood and Plainfield, passed away July 12, 2009. She was born March 9, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a graduate of Plainfield High School Class of 1965 and a graduate of Ivy Tech. She was a nurse for Vista Care in Indianapolis for 8 years and later a nurse for Odyssey Healthcare in Nashville, TN for 5 years before retiring in 2003. Jackie is survived by her father, Jack (and step-mother Shirley) Trotter; her mother, Betty (Longmire) Trotter; a daughter, Mindy (Chuck) Walters; a son, Robert (Marti) Beeler; a sister, Kathy (Gary) Kline; a brother, David (Susan) Trotter; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Spears in 1999. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 16, 2009 in the Plainfield United Methodist Church, 600 Simmons St. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday July 15 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
