Joe L. Shrout

Joe L. Shrout, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away September 9, 2016. He was born July 3, 1958 in Indianapolis to Leigh Shrout and Janice (Roby) Letterly. Joe was a yard supervisor at Furrows Lumber for 20 years. He was an avid fisherman. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Leigh Shrout. Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, at 12:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Janice Letterly; wife, Elizabeth Shrout; daughters, Nichole and Jennifer Shrout; sisters, Theresa Williams and Tammy Richards; 3 grandchildren.
