Ladonna L Root

Ladonna L. Root, 56, of Danville, passed away August 27, 2016. She was born August 22, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of the Amo First Baptist Church. She was a machinist for IAC in Greencastle for the past four years. Ladonna is survived by her longtime companion, Tom Andrew; son, Gerald W. Root Jr.; two daughters, Amanda J. (Ben) Quakenbush, and Brittany A. (Josh) Kennicott; her mother, Mary E. (Mahan) Tallar; a brother Denver (Vicki) Brock; a sister Debra Susie Sutton; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Denver Brock. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 2, 2016. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
