Mary L. Humphrey

Mary L. Humphrey, 92, of Plainfield, passed away August 25, 2016. She was born January 13, 1924 to the late WC (Cliff) and Alice L. (Wilson) Carroll in Decatur County, IN. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. She was a cafeteria worker at the Plainfield High School for 20 years retiring in 1982. Mary is survived by a son, James E.(Linda) Humphrey; two daughters, Connie L. (Ron) Padgett and Carol A. (Steve) Rauch; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Humphrey. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made the the Plainfield Christian Church.
