Eric R Kehrt

Eric Robert Kehrt, 44, of Plainfield, passed away August 23, 2016. He was born December 25, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1990 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School. He was currently a commercial equipment installer for C&T Designs for the past 21 years. He was active in coaching Little League football, basketball and baseball in Plainfield. For recreation he loved fishing and disc golf. Eric is survived by his wife, Lisa M. (Lutz) Kehrt. They were married on September 17, 1994. He is also survived by two sons, Tyler R. and Ryan E. Kehrt; his mother, Sheila Candler; father and step-mother, Phillip and Liz Kehrt; grandfather, Charles Swant; grandmother, Evelyn Bevers; brother, Don Kehrt; and a sister Jenny (Josh) Lee. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27 in the funeral home, with calling one hour prior to services.
