David "Wes" Davis

David Wesley “Wes” Davis, 98 of Clayton, passed away July 18, 2016. He was born March 10, 1918 to the late Arthur and Minnie (Little) Davis in Clayton, IN. He was a graduate of Clayton High School. He was a lifelong Hendricks County farmer and owner of Wes Davis Orchards. He was a 77 year member of the Belleville Masonic Lodge #65 and a charter member of the Hendricks County Bank. Wes is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann (Gary) Rifkin; three grandchildren, David S. Rifkin, Kasondra L. Blacker, Jonathan M. Rifkin and eight great grandchildren; a son, James W. Davis. He was preceded in death by a brother Marshall Davis. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a Masonic Memorial Service at 700 pm on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 21st in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg IN.
