Judith Ann Hardin

Judith Ann Hardin, 67, of Bridgeport, IN. passed away June 11, 2009. She was born July 23, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Joseph B. and Thelma A. (Bell) Hardin. She was a graduate of Purdue University. Judy taught home economics at Ben Davis High School for 33 years retiring in 1996. Her memberships include the Bridgeport United Methodist Church and Bridgeport Order of Eastern Star. Judy was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a special teacher and mentor and served her community well. She loved people and through her career, travels and organizations, she made dear friends. Her struggle here is over and she has gone home to be with our Lord. Our most greatful appreciation to her many friends and family for their prayers and every kindness on her behalf. A personal thank you to Dr. Greg Spurgin, for the special care he gave to my sister and mother and the friend he has been to our family. Funeral services will be Monday, June 15 at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Sunday June 14 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by sister, Josephine Hardin. Survivors include her brother, Joseph "Allen" and wife Janie Hardin; nephew, Greg and wife Julie Hardin; niece, Lynn (Hardin) Buescher and husband (Bill) Buescher; great nieces, Kylie and Kate Hardin; great nephew, Will Buescher. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Community Foundation.
