Gertrude E Millet

Gertrude E. Millet, 94, of Avon, passed away July 13, 2016. She was born August 1, 1921 to the late Francis and Margarett (Woirhaye) McKenna in Indianapolis, IN. She worked several years as a secretary for Public Service of Indiana and later Eli Lilly Co. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield. Gertrude is survived by her son, Kevin C. (Debbie) Millet; a daughter, Lisa D. (Buzz) Keltner; a step-grandson, Joe Hill; and a step-granddaughter Sarah Millet Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leslie Millet; a brother, Jim McKenna; and a granddaughter, Heather Millet. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 18, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 1210 E. Main St., Plainfield. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
