Dorothy D. Friel

Dorothy D. Friel, 97, of Plainfield, passed away on June 20, 2016. She was born on April 19,1919 to the late James and Della Hazlett in Amagon, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Eminence High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Kingsway Christian Church. Dorothy was the widow of Chester V. Friel. She is survived by her children, Faith (Jim) Hettle, Candace Jackson, James (Janice) Friel, Chester Friel, William (Twila) Friel, Hope (Terry) Whitmoyer; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and sister Mary Alice Knoy. She is preceded in death by brothers James, Gilbert, and William Hazlett and a sister, Betty Bailey. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
