Helen M. Mathews

Helen M. Mathews, 84, of Danville, passed away May 31, 2016 in Danville Regional Rehabilitation. She was born February 27, 1932 in Indianapolis to the late Samuel Richard and Opal Evelyn Slaughter. Helen had been a former house keeper for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Mathews and sister, Millie Royster. Funeral services will be Monday, June 6, at 6:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 5:00 pm until service time. A committal service will be Tuesday, June 7, at 11:00 am in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Mathews and Virginia Royster; grandson, Ray Crouch.
