Barbara Jane Waters

Barbara Jane Waters, 88, of Avon, passed away May 10, 2016. She was born July 31, 1927 to the late Charles and Barbara (VanSickle) McAree in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker. Jane is survived by three sons, John S., Jeffrey T. (Lisa) and William B. (Angela) Waters; a brother, William Talbott; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Payton Waters and a step-daughter, Nancy C. Crafton. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 17 at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
