Wanda L. May

Wanda L. May, 92, of Plainfield, passed away May 10, 2016. She was born March 23, 1924 to the late Thomas and Eulah (Boles) Williams in Sullivan, IN. She worked as an operator for Indiana Bell for 33 years retiring in 1981. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. Wanda is survived by her son, Tom G. (Beth) May; two daughters, Janice A. (Bryan) Halfaker and Maribeth Daugherty; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. May and a grandson, Jacob Daugherty. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 13, 2016. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
