Maxine M. Unterreiner

Maxine M. Unterreiner, 89, Plainfield, passed away May 21, 2009. She was born April 14, 1920 in Sedalia, MO. Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband in 1979, Linus "Shorty" Unterreiner, former Superintendent of the James H. Drew Corporation. She was also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Major General Arthur G. Salisbury of the US Air Force. Maxine and her husband were active members in St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield since 1957. She also served in many capacities at the church including past president of the Womens Club. Maxine was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 10:00 am in St. Susanna Catholic Church. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 26 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Survivors include her sons, Mike of Plainfield, David (Vanessa) of Belle Union, Jerry (Cheri) of Plainfield and Dennis Unterreiner of Plainfield; grandchildren, Deonca, Dominic, Amber, Jamie and Joshua; 5 great grandchildren.
