Virginia L. Patterson

Virginia L. Lawrence Patterson, 87, of Plainfield, went home to be with the Lord May 15, 2009. Virginia was born in Shawneetown, IL to the late George P. and Hettie Lawrence. Preceding her in death was her husbnd, William Patterson. Mrs. Patterson is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Bloom (Don) of Greenfield, and Pamela Rose (Larry) of Brownsburg; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly Monday of TN, Jerry Bloom of AL, Teresa Hylton of Greenfield, Jenna Todd of Fishers, and Vanessa Killman of Brownsburg. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Patterson helped to start Christ's Corner Bookstore in 1971 and retired from there in 1989. She was an active member of Westside Nazarene Church, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday May 19, 2009 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday May 18. Entombment, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
