Michael Bilyj

Michael Bilyj, 69, of Plainfield, passed away April 24, 2016. He was born October 18, 1946 to the late Alexander and Antonia (Solitis) Bilyj in Vasserberg, Germany. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the body shop manager at Penske Truck Leasing for 24 years retiring in 2011. Michael is survived by his wife, Rebecca H. (Fekete) Bilyj; a son Michael A. (and his finace, Dianna Zoch) Bilyj; two brothers, Bill (Rosemary) and Peter Bilyj; and a sister, Christine (Doug) Helms. Funeral services will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
