Norman Denton Keith

Norman Denton Keith, 89, of Plainfield, passed away May 9, 2009 at Hendricks Regional Health. He was born September 19, 1919 to the late Olin and Isola Elizabeth Keith in Brooklyn, IN. He married Dorothy Richardson December 14, 1947. She preceded him in death. He married Pat Varvil October 26, 1996 and she survives. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Keith retired from Indiana Bell in 1980 after 34 years of service. He was baptized at Englewood Christian Church in 1954. He moved to Mooresville in 1957 and joined Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield where he attended until his death. Additional survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Rick and Pam Pearson, Dave and Stephanie Hubele, and Bill and Katrina Dougherty; step children, Doug Varvil and Linda Bendick; grandchildren, Natalie Stout, Ericka Vondersaar, Brooke Tague, Melissa Jones, Greg Hubele, and Joel Gubele. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday May 13, 2009 in Plainfield Christian Church 800 Dan Jones Road where friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
