Cyrus L. "Monty" Brickert

Cyrus L. "Monty" Brickert, 47, of Clayton, passed away May 10, 2009. He was born February 7, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a finisher for 14 years for Gibson-Lewis LLC and a member of the Painters Union Local #47. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Gaskin Brickert; two sons, Tim and Travis Brickert; two step-sons, Carl. Taylor IV and Joshua Feilen; mother, Betty (Rickerd) Brickert; three brothers, Charles "Buddy", Clayton, and Chris Brickert; three sisters, Barbara Warner, Pamela Tate, and Sarah Brickert; and 4 grandchildren, Logan and Dakota Brickert, and Ledaja and Isabelle Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brickert Jr. and a son, Thomas Brickert. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday May 14, 2009 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday May 13. Burial, Clayton Cemetery.
