John Adrian Darlington Jr.

John Adrian Darlington Jr., passed away April 8, 2016. He was born August 23, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late John Adrian Sr. and Dora Darlington. John was in sales for Wheel Horse and Yanmar Tractors. He also worked for Brush King Inc where he sold horticultural tools. Later, John drove a school bus for the Collier County School Corporation in Florida. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Darlington, brother, Jerry Darlington sister, Diane Darlington, son-in-law, Dee Williams and grandchild, Kyle Mayer. Survivors include his wife, Donna (Hamm) Darlington, whom he married in 1976 in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Naples, FL in 1985; sons, John III (Kathy)and Jason Darlington; daughters, Debbie Williams of Lindenwood, IL and Cindy (Ben) Owens of Naples, FL ; brother, Jay (Ginger) Darlington; sisters, Susan (Mark) Tope and Nancy (Dennis) Kincaid; grandchildren, Jessica, Kaitlin, Danielle, John IV and Bradley Darlington, Amber Wittenaur of Rochelle, IL, Dawson Williams of Lindenwood, IL, Kaylee and Brianna Owens of Naples, FL; great grandchildren, Autumn and Bentley Wittenaur.
