George Curtis Collicott

George Curtis Collicott, 92, of Plainfield, passed away April 6, 2016. He was born February 11, 1924 in Sandusky, IN to the late Clarence and Stella Collicott. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1942 and joined the US Army Air Corp serving in WW II. George retired from fuel service operations from American Airlines after 47 years. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 10, at 3:00 pm in The Church By The Side Of The Road (10323 E. C.R. 100 S. Avon), where friends may call from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. George was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Collicott and Joanne Voiles. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Collicott; sons, Allen (Lynn), Roger (Thelma), and David Collicott; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
