Ronald E. Brack, 71, of Plainfield, passed away March 24, 2016. He was born August 25, 1944 to the late Russell and Hazel (O'Neal) Brack in Brookville, IN. He served over twenty years in the US Air Force retiring as Master Sergeant in 1984. He was veteran of the Vietnam War. After his service to his country he continued his career as an aviation mechanic and inspector working for the following aircraft manufacturers: Rockwell, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He moved to Indiana and settled in Plainfield to work for ATA Airlines. After 20 years as an aircraft mechanic in the private sector he retired in 2004. He enjoyed drag racing and won Track Champion 5 times in Pueblo, CO. Ronald is survived by his wife, Jane Brack; two sons, Richard Gene Brack, and Nathan Allen (Laura) Brack; a sister, Vicki (Sheldon) Strothman; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Trent and Atticus Brack. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Brack. Memorial services, with military honors, will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
