Our sweet Paxton Atticus Tanner, age 2 months, was called home to be with Jesus on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Paxton transitioned from this earth to Heaven in the loving embrace of his mommy and daddy, David and Melissa Tanner. Paxton entered Heaven being welcomed by his grandfather, David Tanner, his grandma, Monica M. Hanson, and his uncle, Robert M. Hanson. Sadly, Paxton leaves behind his father, David J. Tanner II, his mother, Melissa A. Tanner, his brothers, David J. Tanner III and Parker Grayson Tanner, his grandmother Linda S. Tanner, his grandfather, Robert M. Hanson, along with an extended family of relatives and friends who loved him unconditionally near and far. Paxton fought so hard until the very end and served a very special purpose on this earth. Since his arrival, Paxton’s journey encouraged others and brought joy to many. In his short two months of life, Paxton impacted the lives of so many and has left a permanent mark on the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. God promises that he has a special purpose for all of us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”-Jeremiah 29:11 Paxton continues to fulfill his purpose from Heaven and the time we had with him will always be cherished until we meet again. Until that day comes, mommy, daddy, your brothers and so many others will continue to love you unconditionally. You are loved little one and we were blessed and privileged to call you our son. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday March 23, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.
