Betty Louise Jackson

Betty Louise Jackson, 91, of Plainfield, formerly of Bloomington, passed away March 20, 2016. She was born July 10, 1924 to the late Harley and Georgia (Worley) Freeman in Bloomington, IN. She worked as a payroll clerk for Indiana Bell for 11 1/2 years. She did volunteer work at Hendricks Regional Health and Meals On Wheels. She was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ. Betty is survived by two daughters, Beth A. (Paul) Gray and Lynn A. (Steve) Whittaker; a brother, Dr. Robert R. Freeman; two granddaughters, Nicole (Joshua) Reitzel and Stacey (Joseph) Macri; and a great grandson, Jackson Reitzel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren O. Jackson, and a brother, Harley Freeman Jr. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, March 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
