Geraldine "Jerry" Long-Snavely

Geraldine "Jerry" (Johnson) Long-Snavely, 80, of Plainfield, passed away March 2, 2016. She was born January 20, 1936 to the late Ebenezer and Agnes (Heitcamp) Johnson in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield. She is survived by her husband, Harry Snavely; a son, William S. Long; four daughters, Sherry Young, Karla (Jeff) Summers, Dianah (Ken) Duh, and Robin (Kurt) Steward; a brother, Vern Johnson; two sisters, Jackie Kayes and Susie Cravens; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rollis "Nip" Long and Stephen Jones; a sister, Dottie Byrnes and a brother, Jim Johnson. Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
