Caleb H. Steely

Caleb H. Steely, 10, of Plainfield, passed away March 2, 2016 in his home. He was born in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia on November 1, 2005. Caleb was preceded in death by his birth parents, Minale Tamira and Silenat Shiferaw. He was in the 3rd grade at Van Buren Elementary School. Caleb enjoyed super heros, bird watching, reading, drawing, telling jokes, and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks. Memorial services will be Sunday, March 6, at Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road)at 7:00 pm where friends may call from 5:00 pm until time of service. Survivors include parents, Kevin and Sarah (Wiggins) Steely;brothers, Daniel and Joshua Steely;sisters, Anna, Kristin and Rachel Steely;grandparents, Leon and Reta Steely and William and Laverne Wiggins;uncles, Frank Wiggins and Everett (Andrea) Wiggins;aunt, Kathy (Chris) Bianco. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Make A Wish, Project Hopeful or Show Hope.
