Kenneth Eugene Clymer

Kenneth Eugene Clymer, 89, of Plainfield, passed away February 13, 2016. He was born October 18, 1926 in Vandalia, IL to the late Lester and Helen Clymer. Ken was a member of the Teamsters and retired in 1985 after 20 years with Ringle Express. He was a WWII Navy veteran and active member of the Naval Reserve until 1955. His memberships include Plainfield Baptist Church and Mooresville American Legion Post #0103. Ken was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Lea Roe. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 20, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, February 19, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery, Belleville, IN. Survivors include his wife, Madge Clymer, sons, Gene (Jenny), Tom (Alma) and Wayne (Mary Ann ) Clymer; daughter, Kathy (Tom) Petrone; sister, Edna Mae Clymer; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
