Beulah J. (Wingler) Bassett Burcham

Beulah J. (Wingler) Bassett Burcham, 87, of Plainfield, passed away February 10, 2016. She was born in Clayton on February 13, 1928 to the late Jesse and Leona (Deem) Wingler. Beulah was a cafeteria worker for Cascade High School from 1966 until 1971. She was also the former co-owner of the Belleville Mower Service from 1959 until 1981. Beulah was a member of Plainfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Bassett and Robert Burcham and siblings, Wayne, Buck, Harold, Bill (Jim), Tubby, Jesse Jr. Wingler and JoAnn Noble. Survivors include son, Larry (Myrtle) Bassett; grandchildren, Joe (Angie) Nichols, Chris Bassett and Candice (Kyle) Easley; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, February 15, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
