Hazel P. Nielsen

Hazel P. Nielsen, 95, of Brownsburg, passed away February 8, 2016. She was born February 29, 1920 to the late Raymond and Clara (Jackson) Day in DeRidder, Louisiana. She was a member of the United Community Church of the Nazarene, Plainfield. Hazel is survived by a son, Leon E. (Reta) Steely; a daughter, Karen K. (Dean) Fleming; two sisters, Irene (George) McCormick and Lorraine Larringon; 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jens Nielsen. There will be no calling or services. Inurnment will be in Chariton Cemetery in Chariton IA.
