Lee Kassing

Lee Kassing, 68, of Plainfield, passed away February 6, 2016. He was born April 8, 1947 to the late Edward and Delores (Kurtz) Kassing in Indianapolis, IN. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653, the Plainfield Christian Church and the Millwright Union Local #1076. He was a millwright for 30 years retiring in 2001. Lee is survived by his wife, Barbara J. (Martin) Kassing; brother, Charles (Doris) Kassing; mother-in-law, Alice Fulk; brothers-in-law, James (Carol) and Thomas Martin; and a sister-in-law, Charlene (Kelly) Price. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 12 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or to the Plainfield Christian Church.
