Marilyn L. (Mickey) Young

Marilyn L. (Mickey) Young, 63, of Plainfield, IN. passed away April 19, 2009 in her residence. She was born February 13, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN. to the late Raymond and Mary (Clapp) Mitchell. She was a homemaker and worked several years in the family business, Young Jewelers in Plainfield. She belonged to the Bunco Club and was a supporter of the Plainfield Girls Softball Association. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 23, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Wednesday, April 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Young and a sister, Diane Plunkett. Survivors include daughters, Tina Yoho, Julie Young and Lori Volkel; brothers, Bud, Jeff and David Mitchell; sisters, Carol Gipson, Linda Thicksten and Nora Anderson; grandchildren, Kayley, Ross and Lakin Yoho and Abbey Eads; great grandchild, Adrianna Smith.
