Paul Jennings

Paul Jennings, 98, of Avon, IN, passed away January 28, 2016 in Hendricks Regional Health. He was born July 26, 1917 in Frogue, KY to the late Joe and Lizzie Jennings. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Paul retired from Allison GM in 1982 after 34 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Cora Jennings and sons, Tony, James and David Jennings. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, February 5, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Survivors include his children, Josephine (Allen) Abshier, Judy Sowers, John and Jerry Jennings; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
