David Allen Ray

David Allen Ray, 54, of Advance, IN, passed away January 17, 2016. He was born March 24, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN. He worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for over 20 years in maintenance and as a welder until 2012. David is survived by his father, Luther E. Ray; his step-mother, Sandy (Henthorn) Ray; two brothers, Richard Leon (Charlene) and Rocky Ray; a sister, Diana Sue Ray; step-brother, Richard (Jill) Porten; and two step-sisters, Lisa White and Jennifer (Michael) Popp. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Marge" (Shotts) Ray. Memorial services will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in the Jamestown Christian Church, 900 N. Lebanon St., Jamestown, IN 46147, where friends may call at the church on Saturday from 2:00 pm until service time at 4:00 pm
