Fern E. Bauer

Fern E. Bauer, 96, of Plainfield, passed away January 4, 2016. She was born on April 8, 1919 in Indianapolis to the late William and Charlotte (Ames) Lange. Fern was a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of the Plainfield Friends Church. Fern enjoyed making puppy pillows for children in the surrounding hospitals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bauer. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 12:00 (noon) until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include son, John (Jeanna) Bauer; daughter, Sylvia (Gale) Livers; brother, Bill Lange; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
