Vera Ione Kinney

Vera Ione Kinney, 89, of Plainfield, passed away January 2, 2016. She was born July 27, 1926 to the late Joseph and Lois (Summers) Hopper in Bloomington, IN. She was a legal secretary for American States Ins. Co for over 20 years retiring in 1993. Ione is survived by two sons, William L. (Angela) and Joe Kinney; a brother, Richard (Lynn) Hopper; and two grandchildren, Douglas (Elizabeth) Kinney and Nicholas Kinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran E. Kinney. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IN. There will be no calling hours.
