Raymond F. Hammons

Raymond F. Hammons, 72, of Plainfield, IN. passed away April 2, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born August 29, 1936 in Martinsville, IN. to the late Alvin and Nellie Hammons. He retired in 1999 after 36 years as the payroll manager at Inland Container Corporation. Raymond was a US Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Plainfield Bible Church where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 11:30 am. Visitation will be from 9:30 am. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Amo Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Cline) Hammons; son, Tom Hammons; daughter, Karen Vallor; brothers, Bill and Jack Hammons; grandchild, Stacy Marie Ross. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church building fund.
