Stacey R. Lenz

Stacey Renee Lenz, 31, of Plainfield (formerly of Sarasota, FL) passed away March 16, 2009. She was born May 3, 1977 in Danville, IN. She was a 1995 graduate of Plainfield High School and a 2000 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her Master of Education degree from National-Louis University in 2005 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Stacey was a special education teacher for the Sarasota (FL) School District from 2000-2007. She taught at St. Dominic's International School in Portugal until September of 2008. She is survived by her parents, Mike and Beverly (Hays) Lenz; a sister, Stephanie Kay Lenz; a grandfather, Raymond Hays; a grandmother, Joann Lenz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all of whom will miss her sweetness, beauty and adventurous spirit. Memorial services will be held at the Center Community Church, 5938 S. County Road 700 in Plainfield at 5:00 pm Saturday March 21, 2009, where friends may call from 3:00 pm until service time at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Organ Procurement Organization or the Clarian Transplant Emergency Fund, 550 N. University Blvd., Room 4601, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
