Wilbur E. Maxwell

Wilbur E. Maxwell, 97, of Mooresville, IN. passed away March 14, 2009. He was born September 9, 1911 in Hendricks County, IN. to the late Ira J. and Fannie Maxwell. He graduated in 1929 from Barnesville Quaker High School, Barnesville, OH. He was a lifetime Hendricks County farmer. He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church where he was a former deacon. Wilbur was a member of the Plainfield School Board from 1964-1968. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 17 at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Monday, March 16 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Stipe) Maxwell. Survivors include his son, Myron D. Maxwell; daughters, Virginia Weatherly and Rachel Johnson; grandchildren, Julie Coker, April Remfrey, Amber and Andrew Johnson; 3 great grandchildren,
