Helen E. Cooper

Helen E. Cooper, 94, of Plainfield, IN. passed away March 14, 2009. She was born September 6, 1914 in Indianapolis, IN. to the late George and Elsie Caldwell. She was raised by her father and step-mother, Lydia J. Caldwell She was a secretary for the State of Indiana 15 years retiring in 1965. Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 17 at 1:00 pm at Lincoln Memory Gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Cooper and a grandson, Thomas Staab Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters; Carol Cooper and Judith H. Staab; sister, Mae Caldwell; grandchildren, Theresa Wilson, John and James Staab and Suzanne Soller; 10 great grandchildren.
