Dean J. Beck

Dean J. Beck, 84, of Plainfield, passed away November 30, 2015. He was born May 12, 1931 to the late Lloyd and Bertha (Jackson) Beck in Plainfield, IN. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 1949. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He went to New York and received his degree from Parson's School of Design and later became an interior designer in Illinois and Indianapolis. In Indianapolis he was a floral designer for several Indianapolis firms. He later opened Tolen Florist in Speedway. Dean is survived by his lifetime friend, David C. Rasnick; a niece, Amy (Howard) Small; a nephew, Jeffrey Small; and several cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm
