David John Hursh, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2015 after successfully beating pancreatic cancer by facing it for a year with grace, dignity, love of his family, friends and faith in the Lord! He was born February 11, 1949 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Donald and Anna Hursh. Dave*s character and qualities were impeccable and many. He was best known for his ability to befriend all, goofy sense of humor, devotion to his family and desire that everyone have fun, when he was around. He had an artistic eye and keen sense of design and function in all his creative endeavors through his work and architectural interests. As part of a military family, Dave lived in many parts of the world, moving over a dozen times by the age of eighteen. As an adult, Dave and his family lived in Denver, Arkansas and Indianapolis. He was a registered architect, graduate of Miami of Ohio, worked in construction management and most recently enjoyed working at Lowes. Dave was a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church (418 E. 34 St. Indianapolis) where a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 29, at 1:30 pm. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until time of service. Dave is survived by his beloved family ; sons, Matt (Krista), Mark (Omer) , daughter Mindy (Nick) Goff and his adored grandchildren Oliver, Vivian, Violet and baby Emmett.
