Janet C. VanZandt

Janet C. VanZandt, 73, of Plainfield, IN. passed away March 4, 2009 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, IN. She was born May 8, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN., to the late Thomas and Alma Faye (Bryant) Longmire. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday, March 6 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. VanZandt. Survivors include her sons,George and Joseph VanZandt; daughter, Julie Sullivan; brothers, Richard Longmire and Daniel Tipps; sisters, Patty Estes, Lois White and Jackie Wert; 3 grandchildren.
