Margaritte VM Chandler

Margaritte VM Chandler, 93, of Stilesville, passed away October 17, 2015. She was born May 16, 1922 to the late George and Cora Minnie Mae (McCloud) Clark in Putnam County, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stilesville Christian Church and the Plainfield Rebekah Lodge. Margaritte is survived by two sons, Jerry L. (Vyanne) and Russell E. (Cynthia) Chandler; a daughter, Sharon M. Summerlot; seven grandchildren, Steve Chandler, Rex Summerlot, Pat Chandler, Dawn Schneider, Matthew Chandler, David Chandler, and Adam Chandler; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Elmer Chandler. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, October 20 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. In memory of Margaritte, please bring a donation of a non-perishable food pantry item to the funeral home.
