Shirley N. Ewig

Shirley N. Ewig, 89, of Plainfield, passed away September 18, 2015. She was born February 9, 1926 to the late B.W. and Viola (Bradley) Small in Shamrock, TX. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Plainfield. She was a beautician for over 30 years where she last worked for Pat's Beauty Salon in Plainfield retiring in 1981. Shirley is survived by her son, Karl W. (Brenda) Ewig; two daughters, Pamela D. (Scott) Kirkpatrick and Linda D. Haines; a brother, Bill (Helen) Small; 4 grandchildren, Matthew (Mary) Ewig, Jason (Crystal) Ewig, Kyle (Nicole) Ewig and Abby Ewig; and 3 great grandchildren, Natalie, Isabelle and Axel Ewig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Ewig. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday, September 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield
