Evelyn G. House

Evelyn G. House, 93, of Plainfield, passed away July 28, 2015 at Hendricks Regional Hospital. She was born in Duluth, MN on July 23, 1922 to the late John and Helen (Hakala) Rustad. Evelyn graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary, IN. She and Aurthur were happily married for 71 years. Evelyn worked as a secretary for RCA, U.S. Steel and Carter Wallace over the years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Plainfield. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A private burial will be Thursday, July 30, in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Survivors include her husband, Aurthur House;daugther, Linda (Richard) Meiss;grandchildren, Allan (Carolyn) and Mark (Heather) Meiss.
